Lost contacts info for sending email

Hello I have problem when I write an email and I click on TO: button no
contacts names show in the box even though the names are still in my contact
section of outlook xp The box that should have the person email is totally
empty contacts that was there is gone as is names can anyone help me please

Post the steps you took to create this problem.
This does not happen all by itself. You provided no troubleshooting
information.

When you click on the "to" button... and the box comes up that should have
the names in it.... what is in the drop down menu under the "show names from"
selection box. Is it possible that you f email client islooking in the wrong
place for the names/addresses?
Or are you saying that only the email addresses are missing?
