Some time within the past few days we seem to have lost the ability to see
each other thru the network. Two of us share Access data from my computer.
That has been severed. I can't seem to find anything that has been changed.
I do know that there have been some automatic updates which I have received.
Don't know where to turn or what to do next.

Obviously, internet access thru our net is fine.

Jeff,

One of the most common causes of your problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. There are several
other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this
article with an open mind.

Look at "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config server", and "net
config workstation", from each computer, and diagnose the problem. Read this
article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely (download
browstat!):

Some detail about your network might be good too.
