Lost Button Wizard

Hi all
When I open the form in design mode and try to place button on form ,it
does not open the wizard ..
i.e. it does not give the option to select - open form,records or
misc.Only I get the button with command 35(or like that)
Can some one please recommend what I have done wrong or clicked wrong
button.
