Hi. I am running XP Home, Dsl connection. Upon boot up, I can access
internet immediately no problem. If I leave for a while, when I come back I
can no longer access internet with IE. I can still access email though. I
have checked event viewer, and I do see sometimes:
Warning
Event Source: Tcpip
Event Category: None
Event ID: 4226
Date: 12/05/2005
Time: 3:30:50 PM
User: N/A
Computer: XXXXXX
Description:
TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent
TCP connect attempts.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
(I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem)
I have spyware blaster, and I run Ad Aware, Spybot, and AVG every day.
If I keep trying to open IE, eventually it will connect, sometimes fast,
sometimes after many tries . If I reboot, it will connect immediately. Any
ideas?
