Lost all email and address book

Please help me restore my email and address book. I have lost all of it
somewhere. I have searched for *.pst files and can't find it. I have searched
my computer and nothing. I feel sure it is there somewhere but I cannot find
it.

If you are using Windows XP the pst file is hidden - you need to tell your
Search to look in Hidden Files....
 
I did search the hidden files and still can't find Microsoft Outlook. I am
using XP. Any other ideas?

Outlook's pst-file is usually stored in:

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application
Datas\Microsoft\Outlook

\Local Settings\ is a hidden folder by default so you have to enable
that all folders and files will be shown.

Control Panel | Folderoptions | View
 
I have done this and still cannot find the email files or folders or the
address book.
Any other suggestions?
 
THANK YOU SO MUCH for that little bit of inf on the hidden files. I was
having the same prob since my computer crashed a few days ago, and I had to
re-install XP.
