I have started a new job and the person that knew the pasword for our Bellman
Computer has left the company. I trying to get it running again but I need to
have admin privleges...... How can I get around or chage administrator with
knowing the current one?

In most cases the administrator password is pressing the enter key,if this
doesnt work, thiers a jumper pin on most boards that erases the password (
BIOS Configuration Jumper Block). You'd move the pin from 1-2 to the 2-3
position for 10-15 seconds (with power unplugged).,then back to the 1-2 pos-
ition.Removeing the battery for same time can work also.

What a moron. You are obviously are still in kindergarten so stop answering
questions on this NG.

You say "I trying to get it running again but I need to have admin
privleges...... "

Provided that you do have a legitimate user password and you are talking
about the Windows XP log on password, bear in mind that very often
manufacturers and first users leave the Administrator password as blank.

If this is so you can boot into Safe Mode and select Admininstrator then
click to log on without entering any password. If that fails another common
practices is to use password as the password for Administrator and you can
try that.

If neither of these work then you have to have a software tool to reset the
password from a boot floppy disk. I suggest that you ask your emploer to
allow you to do this or get in an IT pro to do it.
