Lost access to XP fonts for use in Word 2003

I have Word 2003, WordPerfect ver-10 (2002) and was beginning to test Wordperfect ver-12. After 2 days of using all these programs I became unable to use ANY of the installed Windows Fonts in these programs. I am still able to use all fonts in Excel 2003.
Is this a registry problem? And can it be corrected without reloading WinXP?
