Loss of sound in compaq

I have recently purchased a Compaq Presario 700, it came
with Windows XP Home and was working fine, with sound! My
home computer has Windows XP Professional and i wanted to
upgrade the compaq to this. I did this and now i have no
sound at all. I have tried all settings with no results,
i was thinking that a driver may have been lost.
Please help me!!!!

If you've used the same version on both you are in violation of the EULA. If
it's OEM, then it's tied to the first system it's installed on (usually the
one it was sold with). If it's retail, it's ONE LICENCE PER SYSTEM - as it
has been since 3.1

Read the EULA.
