I just upgraded my laptop from XP home to XP pro and, for some reason, it now only sees 384 MB of RAM, as opposed to the 512 that i had. It also starts slowly and I'm having issues with my wireless network. I'm going to uninstall/reinstall the wireless, but the loss of RAM has me stumped. Any ideas?

One of your RAM sticks might have died,
try swapping slots on the mother board.

thanks for the help. what ended up happening was it allocated extra memory to my video card. I just went into the bios and changed it back. apparently pro automatically kicked it over there........
