loss of dxsty.exe

Norton spotted and remove the trojan.gema virus and I
lost the file it attached to. Namely: dxsty.exe.

Each boot now advises me that windows cannot find that
file, (dsxty.exe).

Is it required? XP pro seems to run without it. How can I
restore it?

That's the payload - it certainly isn't a Windows executable!
