Losing video path when moving PPT from Mac to PC

Hey all,

I'm working with a PPT project on my PC that my boss created on his Mac. The
project is around 80 slides with a lot of short video clips. About 30 percent
of the video clips work fine. The other 70 percent are only represented by a
picture. I can right-click and select movie properties, when I do this it
lists no path to a video and a bizzare video length of 53 hours.

I need to know:
a. Are the paths to the video clips in the PPT and I just can't find them
by right-clicking?
b. Is there a way to save the project on the Mac so that I don't lose the
path to the video? (Obviously it wouldn't be the SAME path on the pc but at
least the working ones point to the file within the folder).

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Josh

All of the files, including the ones that should be in the PPP are avi. The
videos playback fine using the MCI within windows.

Josh,

The free FixLinks demo (http://fixlinks.pptools.com) will give you a report of
the movie and other links in the presentation.

This includes some code you can use to edit the links manually if you like:
