I have one laptop that maps say f: g: h: drives on a 2003 server
I have a 2nd laptop, identical config, that loses f:\ drive on restart
and randomly during the day if connected to the drive.
g: and h: are solid.
f: drive sometimes is not there on restart, if it's there it might drop
out during the day
The fact that it doesn't lose g:\ and h:\ puzzles me as that would
indicate it is not a network or h/w problem.
Scripts are enforced.
Next step is a reimage.
