lop.com toolbar

Hi - I've tried everything to get rid of a toolbar that starts up when I go
into IE. I've tried http://lop.com/new_uninstall.exe and it does go away,
but it's back again when I reboot the machine!!! I've tried countless free
pieces of software, and all the instructions listed in contacts dated prior
to mine.

Does anyone really know how to get rid of this thing?

This is what I did to rid my pc of the lop.com toolbars:
- downloaded hijackthis software from http://tomcoyote.org/hjt
- ran it and saved the scan results to a file
- posted the contents of the scan on forums.maddoktor2.com (under the
appropriate area)
- by the next day I received a list of things to do on my pc to get rid of
the toolbar and it worked!!!!

Needless to say I've bookmarked and highly recommend this forum - they were
fast and knowledgable.....yeah!!!
