Are you sure these documents were originally created in Word, and not
in Word Perfect? WP Greek Century would be a Word PERFECT font and may
not be present on the machine where you're doing the conversion to
pdf. When fonts aren't present, Word will substitute another font, but
the pdf tool may not take this into account.
If you go to Tools/Options/Compatibility can you go into font
substitution? And can you see what Word is using in place of WP Greek
Century? Then you should be able to use Find/Replace to truly replace
WP Greek Century with that font.
Does anyone have a fix for converting documents with symbols created
in office XP small business, mainly in word. when i convert the
document to pdf format i get the followind message "A Font Required
for Font Substitution is Missing" and 'Unable to create the font WP
Greek Century' Some Characters may not display or print correctly".
