loosing formula from excel to pocket excel

when i transfer an excel file that contains =convert
formula when used on a pocket pc the formula is stripped
away - why is this ? is there an add in for the pocket pc
that would address this ?

XL for the PPC is only a 'lite' version of XL with the main functions and no
macros. As you have found several are missing
