I have seen this on two XP home SP2 computers, with no answer yet, for some
reason they only way these two computers can find any web pages is to know
the IP Address to get to them. They can not put in the website like
www.microsoft.com they would have to put in 207.46.156.220 to get to the
site. Now if I plug another computer into the same DSL Connection everything
works great, so I know it is either something in XP or they have done
something to there computer. I have the information on resetting the TCP/IP,
and on recovering from Winsock2 corrupion, do these sound like they could be
the problem? Does anyone have any ideas what could be causeing this issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
