I think I have, in my infinite incompetence, published my first domain as
loose pages rather than under one folder as a web.

I have published a second site under a different domain and have all that
information in a single web folder.

Now, when I publish the first web it publishes the other files as well to
the first domain.

Would it help, and what would it hurt if I were to group all the files from
the initial web I published into one file as a web. If I do this are there
certain files I need to leave alone? I don't want to goon everything up when
I do this.

This forum has been an invaluable resource throughout my learning process
with Front Page, so I thought this was the place to check.

Jeff:

One approach would be to create an empty web site, then import your loose
pages into it. Once they were all imported, you could publish that web. Then,
create a directory on your hard drive and move all the loose pages into it.
After verifying that everything is working properly on your web site , you
could delete the directory you moved the loose pages into to avoid confusion
down the road.

Not necessarily saying its the absolute right way, just how I'd do it.

Hope this helps.
