When I insert an mpeg1 movie, it won't loop. I've told it to loop & play
over several slides, but it always stops after playing it once.

What process did you use to tell it to loop and play?

Which version of PPT are you using?

I'm using PPT 2003.

I told it to play automatically when I inserted the movie.
I told it to loop under Edit Movie Object.
I told it to continue through 12 slides under Custom Animation & Effect
Options.

It will loop when I don't have it continuing through multiple slides.

Thanks, Melissa.

I tried it here, and I have the same problem. I have tried a number of
different combinations (using the repeats and rewinds on the effect options)
coupled with the Edit Movie's loop. I can't get it to loop across slides,
though.

Sorry I don't have anything better to offer other than confirmation that
you're not doing anything wrong. Hopefully someone else will have some ideas
on how this could be accomplished. I'll keep scratching my head, too.

Echo, thanks for your help!

Now, does anyone out there have a solution?
