I need a lookup formula that can convert a price change to italic if it is
different to the existing price.
Example below, the price in E2 has changed and therefore needs to show as
either Italic or bold or both.
Any help appreciated.

A B C D E
1 Code Price Code Price
2 AB1237 £4.00 AB1234 £1.06
3 AB1234 £1.02 AB1235 £2.00
4 AB1235 £2.00 AB1236 £3.00
5 AB1236 £3.00 AB1237 £4.00

Hi Doug,

A Conditional Formatting will help you in this matter. You will get it
from Format/Conditional Formatting.

Hope that helps,

Thanks,

Shail,
I would normally use in column E, =VLOOKUP(D2,$A$2:$B$10,2,FALSE) which
would change any price that has changed in column B.
How will a conditional format recognise the change ?
Am i complicating something that is very easy ?

Thanks
