Greetings.

I'm looking for programs that can do the following, and that are 100%
freeware/open source:

1. An SMS or MMS or text messaging application.

2. A program that can email me automatically the current IP address at
a specified interval or whenever the IP changes.


Thank you.
 
1. Microsoft SMS Sender can do SMS, but not MMS. You can Google for
it.
2. No idea about this one.

Looks like they are pretending to be freeware but in reality preparing
to release it as payware. :-(
