I'm getting a new HD from my wife for Xmas ,, and i have a few questions
and hoping for a few suggestions.
I have a 200gig drive right now as my main , an 80gig as my slave and i'm
getting a 160gig at Xmas.
Now ,, i have about 90-100 gigs left free on my 200gig drive and want to
install a fresh copy of XP , BUT , i want to be able to keep my programs
and some settings from my old setup ie: email address's , mail , favorites
, etc.
I have a copy of NTI Backup 4 ,, and was wondering how , what would be the
best way to attack this re-setup??
The programs etc on the 80gig would then also have to be moved back onto
one of the drives as well ,, then it gets a reformat and into another
computer in the house ,, but thats the easy one.
The reason for doing this is i picked up a new Motherboard and Amd
processor and the computer isn't running as fast as i thought it would ,
but all i did when i installed them is do a repair of Windows. Now it's
time to go fresh , but i really don't want to lose everything.
Thanks for any suggestions
