Looking for process to replaace hard disc without s/w rebuild

windows xp. hard disk is too full ( 97%) . I want to replace it with a
larger disc and would like to find a process that would allow me to do that
without having to rebuild all the software on the current disc.

Retail hard drive kits come with a utility to clone the old drive to the
new. If it's a white box kit, then you can download the utility from the
hard drive manufacturer's web site.

Another option is to use drive imaging software to clone the old drive to
the new, such as Acronis True Image Home version 10 or Norton Ghost.
