Looking for freeware to produce invoices + payroll (wage slips)

Well, most of the payroll or invoice programs I find by Googling are
listed at some of the "less reputable" freeware websites. However,
Simtel had this payroll program listed:

http://www.deltanet2.com/paymastr.html

but note that I haven't used it and can't say if it will work for you or
not.

As for the invoice program, I found this PROmotionware program listed at
Simtel too:

http://www.abandba.com/Invoice/ABInvoice.htm

and Simtel also listed this program:

http://www.deltanet2.com/delta60.htm

which is a companion program for the payroll program.

Again, I haven't used any of these programs, so use at your own risk.

If you have any of the major "office suites," MS, OpenOffice, Corel,
they all offer free invoice templates. Some templates for OpenOffice
are included, others are available on their website:

http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/User/template/.

The best collection of OpenOffice templates that I've found so far is on
sourceforge at:

http://ooextras.sourceforge.net/

After you choose a language, be *sure* to click on the appropriate tabs
(writer, calc, etc). There are numerous invoice templates and a few
payroll-related templates in both the writer and calc sections.
