I have a Lexmark X73 printer with MGI Photosuite 8.1. Which I found very
hard to use so I went out and bought Picture It 7.0. I am looking for a
program that allows you to put a array of different pictures on a single
sheet of photo paper to avoid waste. Does anyone know if these programs (or
ANY other program) does this? Thanx

Are you aware that you can print multiple image
files on one sheet using Windows XP? Open
a folder that contains images...right click an
image file and from the menu...choose...Print.
This will open your Photo Printing Wizard....
Follow the prompts.

In PI7.0 you have several choices...you could
create a new blank project... 11x8.5 and add
several images in any configuration you like.

Also you could go to...Create a Project and
choose Albums. You'll find some pre-formatted
collages and album pages.

Also you could open several images and go to...
File / Print Special / Multi-photoSheet...

Choose a template...

Choose...Several Projects...

Left click / Drag your pictures into the various
cells on the template.

I also use PHOTO PRINTER 2000 PRO by ARCSOFT, it has many great templates
for arranging photos of various sizes on one sheet. It gives you the exact
measurements on a grid or off or you can do it free-style. It also has on
the fly basic editing and cropping. I love this program for printing
photos, but this program must be purchased versus the free ways mentioned
in other posts.

Have you looked at the Contact Sheet in Adobe Photoshop? This might be what
you are after.

You don't need a special program to print
a contact sheet. This can be done with the
Windows XP Photo Printing Wizard...35
images per page including file names.
