Index is designed to help you organize all your notes, phone numbers,
addresses, and other things that you want to remember into one simple
program that is similar to an index card file. Just type anything you
want to remember into the text box and when you close the program,
your note is saved. Index and Quick Notes now have the ability to
launch URL's and your Email program from within the program.

Yup. That's the one.

yea it is. can't find anything like it tho (esp. a no install)

Hey guys,
Index is not Crippleware. There is no version with more features. It
has always been freeware. It also has an installer. I used the
freeware Inno Setup to create the install. I wrote Index for my own
use because most of the available similar programs were too
complicated for my use. Especially the available freeware reminder
programs. Index is probably the only program I use everyday because I
would be lost without some way to remember things.

I found it so useful that I decided to make it available for other
users. Since most users won't use a program for very long if it is too
complicated, I intentionally kept the program as simple as I could,
but it seems that the only feedback I ever got was requests for more
features. IMO, it's simplicity is one of the better features of the
program.

I don't do any programming anymore since I was a self taught amateur
programmer and I have lost interest in programming. I have to say
that I am rather proud that people like and use my program.

Thanks,
Larry
