Long Delay before the insertion point appears

- When I type information in a form in Internet Explorer,
there is a long delay before the insertion point appears
in the text box and the text that I type is also delaied
before its displayed. Also there is a long delay I move
the insertion point from one box to another.

- To fix this problem, I followed the steps in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article-251787, but the problem
still there.

I'm PC is running WIN 98SE and I'm using IE 6.0 SP1 with
all critical updates installed.

You may have too much garbage on your machine, especially in temporary
internet files. An excellent free utility to have is called Spider. If you
run it once a week or so you'll be surprised how much junk accumulates in
your system. Get it here:
