Ouch, a user must really want luxury to buy a mouse and keyboard for
this much money unless they really want all the features, I guess.

There are pc manufacturers who sell, and customers who buy, $7000.00+
computers. A $250.00 keyboard & mouse would fit right in.

Wow, you could get a nice and decent used car for that much money. Why
would anyone go this way and not the way of fully customizing and
building the computer themselves which I now much prefer.

The 'boutique' pc shops will customize anything you want, including
$1000.00+ case paint jobs. I would guess it's something your average rich pc
enthusiast has neither the skill nor interest in doing.
