Logos and message size

Hi,

One of our users wants to put the company logo in his signature. Even making
the logo low resolution and small it still increases message size from about
4kb to 45kb. Is that inevitable or is there some other way to include the
logo?

Graphics simply take more space than text. Depending on the level of detail
of your logo you could use a 4-bit gif or lower.
