I have Windows XP Home Edition. Can I set it up so that when I turn the PC on it automatically boots to the desktop with out having to log on? I would like to eliminate the extra step of logging in. I have it set for Windows classica view, but I still have to enter user name and password. I'm the only user. How do I elminate that step?

You can also use the following easy steps to enable automatic logon:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type: control userpasswords2 , and then click OK.
3. In the dialog box that appears, clear the "Users must enter a user name
and password to use this computer" check box, and then click OK.
