Logon Unauthorized

When trying to access my work email from home, the XP
Logon Authentication box appears to type in my work logon
and password. When I do this and click "OK", it gives me
an "unathorized logon", error message 401.1. When I go to
the help under this message, it tells me I need to
authorize the user to "log on locally" and that the tool
is under the Administrative Tools folder. IT ISN'T
THERE!!! So I still cannot log onto my work email or any
other extranet for that matter.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

This needs to be corrected by those running your
web-base email access server.
You need to advise them. There is nothing you
can do through changes to your system.

I have tried that, and since it is happening on ANY
website that has an intRAnet exchange server, they seem
to think it is my computer. It is happening when I access
a University of Washington intranet server as well for
online textbooks, articles, etc... Not just my email from
work????
