Logon Script will not execute on XP using DHCP

Greg

XP Client machines will not execute the logon Script from
our W2K servers using DHCP. DHCP is functioning, because
they log in and IPConfig/all reveals an IP Address. When
an XP machine is configured with a static address, the
logon script executes. Any Ideas? TIA
 
This is a long shot, but:

1) if the logon script isn't from a Group Policy User object logon
script, and

2) the users don't have roaming profiles, and

3) the users don't have home directories,
