I manage a Windows 2000/2003 domain. I have users that have a desktop and a
laptop. I would like to set them up so that when they log into the domain on
the desktop they would be a restricted user and when they log into the
laptop have them be a power user. Can this be done with one user name?

Thanks

Add domain account in question to local "Users" group on desktop (if it is
not there through membership in "Domain Users" group) and to local "Power
Users" group on laptop.

Yes, add the user name to the "Power User" local group on the laptop.
