Am using Win XP pro on Dell XPS Dimension.

Have attempted to install a new limited account after prolonged use of my
own administrator ac.

Installation proceeds 'normally' and folders established in Documents and
Settings.
However all attempts to logon proceed to the point where personal settings
are being loaded when computer freezes with the message:-
FailSafe- InternalError Handler

fsERROR() generated error 9 subscript out of range inside FAILSAFE.BAS

Computer then reset and restarted successfully using original administrator
ac

Have attempted to diagnose using Dell and MS online help without success.
Does anyone know the answer please?

James

Perhaps try creating a new Administrator level account, log in to that
once to verify and then lower the rights back to Limited. Description
sounds like a program initialization routine is failing - maybe an issue
with a Service Start or some type of Startup/Watchdog which is now
restricted because of privileges.

Thanks
Tried your suggestion but without any change

Pressing return repeatedly to try to cancel error message eventually came up
with a window related to my anti virus package (ESP Authntium Curtains)

Deleted the new account then deleted ESP and reinstalled
Re-established new acc.
This did not improve matters!
