Bit-Tech have a review of the Logitech MX-700 RF Cordless Mouse, and they think this could be "the perfect mouse"!

The MX-700 really does live up to the manufacturers claims and can certainly hold its own against the best corded optical mice currently available and lays waste to those cordless brothers which came before it. It is let down only by a lack of a left handed version and the minor niggles with the supplied software. Overall, the MX-700 is an excellent product which is now my mouse of choice and thoroughly recommended.

what do you mean, could be?

... it is the perfect mouse. :D

Yep

:D

Great mouse, put it to bed at the end of the day and its fully charged ready and raring to go. ;)

I've also only heard good things about the MX700 (as well as the 300 and 500). I'd like to pick one up (maybe the 500, though)

I feel all left out now, I dont have one :(

:P  :D

Lol, I haven't yet :) I'm working on it though ;)

2 people in the flat next door to me got a set each, and it does seem so good!

Got one too, they are great, flatmate was using it while I was away, didnt realise its rechargeable and put fresh duracels in it, I returned not knowing this and tried in vain for ages to charge it, only opened it by chance to check the batteries, is is true what they say about recharging non-rechargables making them liable to explode?

I personally have not come across a battery exploding but yes improper use can do that. Manufacturer's advise should be followed in such situations. They are very clear about it.

just bought a Chic 2220 Ergonomic series Wireless optical mouse with docking station.

Aparently it looks like the MX700 but it is way cheaper.

you can get non-rechargable battery chargers. Expensive though! dont know how they work either.
