I have a dumb question.

How can I log into the Win2K Server with a WinXPHome PC?
I am connected with the CAT5 cable, and can ping back and
forth just fine. However, I can't figure out how to log
into the server at boot up, as I do with the Win98
systems. I know how to set up the 98 machines to log into
the LAN, but can't find the instructions to set up the XP
machine.

Well, if the instructions aren't there, maybe it isn't
such a dumb question, after all.

If you are attempting to join a domain, then you can't
with XP Home Edition. Only XP Pro has the advanced
networking capabilities to join a domain.
