I have three users on my computer (running XP Pro): to
limited and the original administrator account. When I
turn on the computer, I do not get the welcome screen to
select which user to log on. Instead, the original
administrator user account is automatically logged on. I
only want to use this account when it is absolutely
necessary. I have checked the MS Windows XP Support
Centre and can only find information on this problem
stemming from the installation of a program called "PC
Anywhere" which I have not used.

How do I make the welcome screen show up first when I
boot up?

.
Go to Control Panel - User Accounts and select 'change
the way users log on or off' de-select the 'use the
Welcome Screen' and that will give you the classic
windows logon screen. Hope this helps.

Click Start, Run and enter CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 Check the box, Users must enter a username and password.
