Logging on and off of Windows

Somehow Win XP got set to a point where it is logging me off of Windows after 5 minutes or so of inactivity. I want to go back to a situation where it does not do this. I know there are some settings in control panel but I don't want to do something that causes me to be unable to log on.
 
right-click on the desktop.
select properties
click on the screensaver tab at the top of the window
in the middle of the screen the time is displayed before
the screensaver is activated
next to it is a checkbox to activate "on resume display
the windows welcome screen". Uncheck it
click apply and ok
