logging off problems

Help...when I log off my account, a screen always pops up stating "ending hpcmpmgr.exe" itstead of how it use to do, which is log off and go directly to the startup screen with the list of other accounts. This just started happening about 3 weeks ago...should I worry about it ...help
 
Its an hp application, there are numerous reports of yr type of problem,
apparently there is a downloadable on hp site to rectify/disable this app.
or you can just stop it running on start up. I believe the app is designed
to search/inform of hp updates.

Hi jalee,

It is HP Component Manager, a HP utility, disable it in Start > Run >
msconfig > startup tab.
