logging off problems

I would be glad if somebody could help me with this!!!!!
I've got 2 users on my comp..after i log in as a user i am
not able to logoff ....i try clicking on the logoff button
but it doesn;t work... its the same when i try to shut
down the system too ....i try to click on the 'turn the
computer off' button but it doesn't shut down ...so
everytime i need to turn the comp off i press the power
off button manually...and i'm not able to switch the users
too....

PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!!!!
