Logging into a Domain. Registry Recovery Error

Hi Al

After installing XP pro on a workstation, I seem to get a registry error every time I log onto our work domain, if I log into the workstation localy there is no error

Error is

"One of the files containing the systems registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternative copy. The recovery was successful

I only get this error on loging into the domain
I have done fresh installs on a few workstations and get the error on all of them so im pretty confident its not a simple bad hard drive or memory stick
I have installed NT and upgraded to XP as well and only get the error on the XP log in

Does any one have any ideas please
 
Following a few links on these forums it seemed there was a patch to this
Supposidly instaling SP1a would cure it but it did not, also looking about these forums lots of people have had the same problem and I can not find an answer to it

Does any one eles have any ideas apart from installing SP1
I have also tried recovering the registry from the console etc which said it worked but does not cure my error at log in :
