logging in the console

The server is running Windows 2000 Advanced and the
client is an XP Pro workstation. I downloaded the latest
client for XP.

With Windows 2000 Server TS it's NOT possible to logon to the console session, like you can with Windows Server 2003 or XP Pro (using "mstsc /console").
