In our network we also have an Intranet webserver.
Default is, when you have logged on in to the network you
also autommtic can reach the Intranet. But a few of our
users have got a problem, that they have to log on one
more time into the Intranet. Something in our Network
don´t accept the first logged on. This has happend after
they hav change their password. Is there anyone who knews
some thing about this.We have checked the Settings in
Internet Explorer but could´n se anything unusual ther.

Is it possible that your gateway to the Intranet network goes through a
"proxy" server that requires a login? The first login to the network
authenticates your connection to the machine and (perhaps? you don't
say) to your Windows network domain. The second login required by the
proxy server which appears not to be integrated with the Windows login.
I suspect this nothing to do with Internet Explorer.

Speak with the folks who operate your network.

networkspecialist but he can´t understand why some of our
users have this problem. They have logged on to the
domain and not only the computer.

I'm assuming the first login is legitimate. What is the exact wording
on the second login prompt? Can you tell from it where it is coming
from? Do some of the users have their IE configired (inadvertenly or
nefarisously) to a proxy server?
