I am in the process of recreating an existing
presentation I have in Freelance into Powerpoint. The FL
charts at logarithmic column charts with input such
as .0001. The scale is from .001, .01, .1, to 1 on the y
axis. When I try to recreate in PP I get an error "any
data zero or less than zero will not plot properly in a
logarithmic chart" and the data does not plot properly.
Is there any way I can circumvent this error and have the
pp charts look similar to the existing FL charts?

thank u.

Bizarre one, Kim. Somebody seems to have wired the wrong error message up
here.

Try this:

Format the Y axis.
Remove the check next to "Floor (XY) Plane Crosses At ..." and type in the
minimum value you're plotting (e.g. 0001).

Not perfect but at least it shuts off the inappropriate error message.

Hi Kim,

Have you tried creating the charts in Excel and then
pasting them into PowerPoint?

HTH,
Glenna
