I am the Americans With Disabilities Coordinator for a State Agency. Several employees have disabilities that hinder the simultaneusly pressing Ctrl/Alt/Delete to log on every day. Our IT Unit says there is nothing they can do, but I think this problem had to come up before. IT does not have a script for remapping the keyboard. Any suggestions?

Your IT Unit is wrong.

I just read that article a little more, and it seems that it doesn't mention
the much simpler solution of turning off the need for ctrl+alt+delete to log
on...

Start--Run---GPEDIT.MSC--Enter
Computer Configuration
\Windows Settings
\Security Settings
\Local Policies
\Security Options

Disable CTRL+ALT+DEL requirement for logon = ENABLED

I thought there was a setting for this in a control panel applet, but I may
be thinking of Windows XP. Also, I imagine this could be made a domain
policy so you don't have to touch every computer, but I do not know anything
about creating domain policies. Your IT folks should. If they say it can't
be done, they are also wrong about that. Microsoft does a Hell of a job
with its accessibility initiative.

At the very least I would think Sticky-Keys would help
out. Not the best solution, but an easy one at least.
