I'm using XP Home with only an user created, so XP automatically login as
the User when boot up. Is it possible for me log in as Administrator during
normal boot up instead?

You can try holding down the Shift key when windows is
loading to bypass the autologon(at least this works in
NT/2000 with autologon). Or once logged on, go into
control panel \ Administrative Tools \ Computer Management
\ local users and groups and try to change the logon to
manual...? I'm not exactly sure where this setting is but
you can shut it off - then as long as you know the
administrator password you can logon with it.

I had tried that, removing autologon and promptingme for user name and
password, but Administrator is not accepted at the prompt, only my user name
is. It will give an access permission error. Any clues?

Once any additional user accounts have been created, the
Administrator account will no longer be displayed on the Welcome
Screen. This is a default security feature. By design, the only way
to log into the Administrator account of WinXP Home is to reboot into
Safe Mode. To change this default security practice:

Hide/Show users on the Welcome Screen
