I got to playing around with the system. Had to reboot and during the
process it now requires me to click on my username. I'm the only user of
this system. How can I remove that requirement. I'm running XP Pro and
you'd think I'd quit diddling around by now.

Hi Mike,

Start, Run, type in
control userpasswords2

Uncheck, "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer."
