Have a look at BareTail:

Website and Splash screen increased the nagging factor a *bit*. (Since
last time I had a look.) But the program is still free and very good
for viewing logs.

I'll try it. I thought this would be easy to find in Google, but there's lots of
shareware ones out there.

Thanks again, BeAr. It's exactly what I needed, does a fine job, andhe nag screen is
just momentary.
