locked out message giving user name and space for password

I type in my sure password, and it is not recognized.
I click OK and I am back online.
Why.

Also a shutdown brings me back on line. Why?

Is this a hacker trying to collect passwords?

You haven't provided enough information or described the problems well
enough to get focused help. It can be very hard for a non-technical
