You want to Freeze Panes.
I will expain how to freeze rows(at top) and columns(at
left). Why would you want to do this? You may have
headings that you wish to see even if all the other
information is not displayed on one monitor screen.
Select horizontal bar immediately above up arrow on right
scrollbar. Move down to select number of rows. Select
vertical bar immediately right of right arrow on bottom
scrollbar. Move left to select number of columns. Select
Window on Menu Bar. Select Freeze Panes. To remove
Freeze. Select Window on Menu Bar. Select Unfreeze Panes.
