Lock next record

Hello,

I have a command button in my form that unlock certain fields that may need
to be edited. The user simply press the command button and can alter the
field. My questions is I want to lock up the same fields when the user goes
on to the next record either by using the mouse wheel or press the
navigation button. Where do I go to lock the fields? Can someone give me a
hand? Thank you in advance.
